DAY 1: ARRIVAL & EVENING GAME DRIVE
Morning:
Depart from Entebbe early morning
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 6–7 hours from Kampala)
Afternoon:
Arrive at Mweya Safari Lodge
Lunch and short relaxation at the lodge
Evening:
Evening Game Drive Ishasha — Spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and possibly leopards
Sunset views over the savannah
Dinner & Overnight at the lodge
DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE & KAZINGA CHANNEL BOAT SAFARI
Early Morning:
Sunrise Game Drive in the Kasenyi plains — prime time for predators like lions and hyenas
Look out for herds of elephants, warthogs, antelopes, and birds
Late Morning:
Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast
Afternoon:
Lunch at the lodge
Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel (2-hour cruise) — A highlight of the park
See hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, and abundant birdlife up close
Evening:
Dinner & Overnight at the lodge
DAY 3: CHIMP TREKKING OR ISHASHA SECTOR & DEPARTURE
Option A: Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking
Early breakfast
Head to Kyambura Gorge for a guided trek to spot chimpanzees in their natural habitat
Explore the forest, rich with birds, primates, and scenic views
Option B: Ishasha Sector for Tree-Climbing Lions
Drive to Ishasha, famous for its unique population of tree-climbing lions
Game drive through the remote southern part of the park
Midday:
Early lunch or packed lunch depending on timing
Begin drive back Entebbe
