Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide from Chigo Gorilla Adventures. After a short briefing about your safari, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can relax after your international flight.
Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional visit to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or relax by the shores of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Entebbe – Jinja (Approx. 3–4 Hours)
After breakfast, depart for Jinja, Uganda’s adventure capital.
Along the journey, stop at:

* Mabira Forest Reserve
* Local roadside fruit markets
Optional activities in Mabira Forest include:
* Zip-lining

Continue to Jinja where you’ll visit:

Enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the River Nile.

Day 3: Full Day Adventure in Jinja
After breakfast, spend the day enjoying Uganda’s premier adventure destination.
Optional activities include:

* Bungee jumping
* Community tours
Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Jinja – Sipi Falls (Approx. 5–6 Hours)
Drive through eastern Uganda via Mbale before climbing into the cool highlands of Kapchorwa.
After lunch, enjoy a guided hike to the spectacular Sipi Falls while learning about the local Sabiny culture.
Visit nearby Arabica coffee farms and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Elgon.

Day 5: Explore Sipi Falls
Spend the day exploring this beautiful region.
Activities include:

Day 6: Sipi Falls – Kidepo Valley National Park
Depart early for one of Africa’s most spectacular wilderness areas.
The journey passes through the unique landscapes of Karamoja with opportunities to admire traditional homesteads and dramatic scenery.
Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Kidepo Valley National Park
Start with an early morning game drive through Narus Valley.

Day 9: Kidepo – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, travel southwest towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest protected area.
Enjoy scenic views of northern Uganda before arriving at the park.

Day 10: Explore Murchison Falls
Begin with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah.
Look out for:

After lunch, enjoy the famous boat safari along the River Nile to the base of Murchison Falls where hippos, crocodiles and countless birds gather.
Later, visit the Top of the Falls to witness the Nile squeeze through a narrow 7-metre gorge before plunging 43 metres.

Day 11: Murchison Falls – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Depart after breakfast and travel to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Enjoy an unforgettable guided rhino tracking experience on foot, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen.
Relax at the lodge.

Day 12: Ziwa – Kibale Forest National Park
Travel through Hoima and Fort Portal while enjoying scenic tea plantations, crater lakes and views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Check in and relax.

Day 13: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Optional stop at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk to spot monkeys and birds.
Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon.

Day 14: Wildlife & Kazinga Channel
Start with an early morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, leopards (if lucky), Uganda kobs and numerous bird species.
After lunch, enjoy a relaxing two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos, Nile crocodiles and elephants along the shoreline.

Day 15: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge
Following breakfast, report for a briefing before descending into the spectacular Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of Apes.”
Track the habituated chimpanzees while learning about the gorge’s unique ecosystem.
Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit nearby crater lakes or local communities.

Day 16: Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha – Bwindi
Travel through the famous Ishasha Sector in search of the rare tree-climbing lions resting in giant fig trees.
Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening.

Today is the highlight of your safari.
Following an early breakfast, report to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for a briefing before beginning your unforgettable mountain gorilla trek.
The trek may last between 2 and 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
Once located, enjoy one magical hour observing these incredible primates in their natural habitat.
Return to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 18: Batwa Cultural Experience
After breakfast, visit the indigenous Batwa community.
Learn about their traditional forest lifestyle through storytelling, dance, hunting demonstrations and cultural performances.
Spend the remainder of the afternoon relaxing at your lodge.

Day 19: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park.
Enjoy an afternoon boat cruise or evening game drive searching for zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes and elands.

Day 20: Explore Lake Mburo
Enjoy an early morning guided walking safari with an armed ranger.
This unique activity allows you to get close to wildlife on foot while learning about animal tracks, plants and ecosystems.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or enjoy an optional horseback safari.

Day 21: Lake Mburo – Uganda Equator – Entebbe
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe.
Stop at the Uganda Equator for memorable photographs, souvenir shopping and an educational demonstration of the water experiment.
Enjoy lunch en route before continuing to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
